CCA: Co-Curricular Activities Enrichment Programmes

CCA (Co-Curricular Activities) is not an appendage to academic programmes, but rather a "core module of holistic education" that runs parallel to the Dual-A and DSE academic curricula. CUHK-Shenzhen ICC firmly believes that the ultimate goal of education is to enable students, in an environment where they are truly understood, to find their unique voice in dialogue with the world.

The school's CCA programmes are designed with "holistic development" as the core objective, structured around three key dimensions: "diverse empowerment, personalised growth, and progressive capability building." They aim to create an extended platform for student development beyond the classroom.

Multi-Dimensional Mentorship System

Extending University Educational Resources to the High School Level

In addition to on-campus academic advisors and college counsellors, students also benefit from the support of CUHK-Shenzhen professors and scholars, college fellows, as well as peer mentors comprising master's and doctoral students and outstanding undergraduates. This multi-layered mentorship provides ongoing guidance in academic exploration, career planning, research practice, and personal development, allowing students to immerse themselves in an authentic academic community from an early stage.

CUHK-Shenzhen ICC, through its dynamic college counselling framework, has established a comprehensive resource empowerment system covering eight key development pillars: subject development, research exploration, competition excellence, standardised test preparation, community engagement, and advanced application guidance. This multi-dimensional approach enhances students' overall academic strength and competitiveness for admission to top global universities across curriculum, research, competitions, and college counselling.
